FAQs Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) First and foremost: Those who have doubts about refilling this cartridge, its extremely easy if you follow the procedure correctly. Q) Can I refill my HP 802 Small / Large Colored and Black cartridges ? A) Yes absolutely. Refill HP 802  Tri co lo r Cartridge This is the tutorial for refilling the HP 802 Tricolor (color/colored) ink cartridge that is available in two variants -- HP 802 Tricolor Small and HP 802 Tricolor Large. Again, the difference between them is physically the size of the sponge and of course the price. In this colored variant, again the large cartridge will pay you more since there'll be less refills and less work to do.  Here's an image of the tricolor cartridge:   So the process of refilling is again the same as the black but now you have to use three colors - i.e Cyan (Blue), Magenta (Red) and Yellow. Get any good branded ink such as InkTec. Personally, I prefer to use ProMax Ink for the colored cartridge since they give out good quality prints with vivid colors. Ink Suction Tool Many people are facing the problem that their cartridge gives only a few lines of print after refilling when it should actually be delivering about 50 prints or so. The reason for this problem is that the ink does not reach the head and as a result, you get no output on the page. SOLUTION: To force the ink near the head. While I have written on the pages as well as many of the comments, that air can be blown to force the ink out, it's one way thats not preferred. The best solution for this is to buy an ink suction tool. It can be bought from Ebay.in Here are images of what it looks like As you can see, the cartridge can be attached and held into the tool. The white silicone grip at the bottom provides an airtight seal. When you pull the plunger of the attached syringe, pressure causes the ink from the sponge to flow towards the head. Beware that you don't pull the plunger too much or you will drain all the ink from the cartridge into the syrin...
